about
'Remiss' is the single off of my debut EP, 'little help'. This is something I started writing at the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic shortly after I began playing guitar. This EP is very collaborative and features some of my oldest and newest friends. This single features the brilliant Alassane on vocals. I've been a fan of his for some time and was honored that he was able to add his voice and lyrics to the sonic world I created. In addition to Alassane, many of my oldest friends breathed life into this song. I'm eternally thankful to everyone who contributed and supported me through this process.
lyrics
True
I’m in awe of you
How you clinch a lucky hand you drew
Cloistered
To remain in disgust
It’ll all be taken soon enough
Were you listening less
Could you be someone remiss
Are you counting steps
Back from where you came
Were you listening all the same
Am I animal enough
Us
Them
One broken love
No circling a square around me
In times reveal
Of all that’s left to see
Are you listening less
Could you be someone remiss
Are you counting steps
Back from where you came
Were you listening all the same
True
I’m in awe of you
How you clinch a lucky hand you drew
Cloistered
To remain in disgust
It’ll all be taken soon enough
Are you listening less
Could you be someone remiss
Are you counting steps
Back from where you came
Were you listening all the same
